Getting ready for camping

We are going camping in a few weeks with Matt and Christy. Here we are trying out some camping gear. There will be many pictures of our first camping adventure when we get back.

Things are getting tough

Things are getting a little harder at the Buckelew household. Madison has outgrown her baby carrier car seat. That is the best thing EVER!!!! Now things are a bit harder. Madison can sit on her own but still gets tires after a while. She now has a new car seat and has to sit in the buggy and high chair when we go out. She has been really great at transitioning but it makes it harder on me. You have to bring a lot more things out with you. Hopefully this phase won't last long. Here are a few pictures of our new adventures!!

Introducing a new musician

Scott has been playing around with his guitar that he has had put up for a long time. The guitar case is lined with a fur like material to protect the guitar and I thought Madison would love to feel of it so I sat her inside the case. As I predicted she did like to feel the soft inside. Scott then thought it would be cute to let her hold the guitar and as you can see she is cute with it. Is she going to be the next BIG country artist? Guess we have a few years til we know.

NaNa and PawPaw Hinson came to visit

The grandparents were in town last week and babysat Madison one day for me. They had a BLAST!!! Madison was a bit spoiled when they left. PawPaw walked about 100 miles with her in the stroller. We had a great visit and can't wait for another.

Trip to Knoxville, TN

We took a long weekend trip to Knoxville to see my cousin Christy and her family a couple of weekends ago. We had a great time just hanging out and spending lots of time together. Here are a few pictures from the mall and from the splash pad we went to.

Madison loves her dollhouse

Madison's Aunt Shelly let us borrow their Little People dollhouse and Madison has really been enjoying it. She loves to sit in the Bumbo and play with all of the toys and parts. There is a bed of kittens inside and if you press down it sounds like kittens meowing. She loves to put her foot on it and constantly press it. It is pretty cute!!

Enjoying Summer

Madison is really enjoying splashing in the water so I have been taking her bathtub outside so she can sit and splash all she wants.
