Madison's latest numbers!!

Madison went for her 6th month check-up today and everything looks great. She is 15lbs 7oz and was 27 inches in length. Yes I said 27 inches. She is in the 50th % for weight which is what she has always been but is now in the 90th% for height. I am hoping she will be much taller that me. The doctor asked if she was sitting on her own and I said not really so he said let's see what she can do. I agreed and he sat her up on the table and she sat there by herself like a little princess. He turned and looked at me and said "Mom, she is sitting on her own." I was excited but she never seems to do all of these exciting things until she goes for her check up. I guess she's just a little show off.

Happy Baby Madison

Madison is such a happy baby. Just thought I would share a few random photos. ENJOY!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

We went up to Cane Creek campground where Scott's sister and family were staying and hung out at the campground all day on Friday. On Saturday we did yard work. Yes, as boring as it sounds all we did on Saturday was pull weeds and hang out by the pool for a little while. Scott's parents normally come up every year for the week but they were not able to come this year so we had not made any plans. Maybe next year our post will be a bit more exciting. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.

Sweet Home Alabama

Madison took her first trip to Alabama Father's Day weekend. Scott's family had a reunion so we decided to go back home to see everyone and let everyone meet Madison. Scott's dad had not seen Madison until this weekend. I am a little behind on posting but oh well. I eventually get to most everything if enough time goes by. Madison was Excellent on the trip. It took us about 9 hours to get there and we only stopped 3 times. That is pretty good for a 5 month old. We were really busy the entire weekend and got to see a lot of family and friends. It was a really good trip.
